WHO CAN USE YAK PAY?

Yak Pay is available to Australian owned (or managed) businesses with a current ABN.


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY YAK PAY ACCOUNT SET UP?

Accounts can be approved within 24 business hours on the basis that all required documentation has been provided.


REVERSING A PAYMENT

A payment can be reversed by contacting our office and requesting a reversal, providing funds have not been paid to the payee.


STOPPING A PAYMENT

Payments to suppliers can be stopped by contacting our office prior to 11:00am the day after your credit card is charged.

CAN I EARN REWARDS ON BOTH PARTNER PROGRAMS?

In addition to your credit card points, you may select either Qantas Business Rewards or Velocity Frequent Flyer program for your Yak Pay point allocation.


ARE MY REWARD POINT EARNINGS CAPPED THROUGH YAK PAY?

Earning capacity of Points is uncapped through Yak Pay.


WHEN WILL MY REWARD POINTS APPEAR IN MY ACCOUNT?

We allocate your points to your nominated frequent flyer account when the funds are paid to your payee, these points should be visible within 2 business days.

DO YOU DIRECT DEBIT THE FUNDS FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT?

No, for speed of processing, you will need to transfer the funds to our bank account via NPP (Fast) or EFT Transfer (Slow).

When you submit the payment instructions within our portal, we will then supply you with the details for Bank Transfer.

This includes a unique reference code for the bank transfer


HOW MUCH DOES BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS COST?

The fee for Bank Transfer payments are 0.5% +GST


HOW MANY REWARD POINTS DO I RECEIVE FOR BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS?

You will receive 1 Point per $4 for Bank Transfer payments.

WHAT CARDS CAN I USE ON YOUR PLATFORM?

We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards issued in Australia for payments.


IS THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT A CASH ADVANCE?

If the credit card is issued in Australia, it will not be considered a cash advance. If the credit card is issued outside of Australia, we do not allow this card to be used on our system, as it may incur extra fees and it may be considered a cash advance, and you may also pay interest on the payment.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

Our service cannot be used to pay yourself (subsidiary or related entity) via a credit card. There are specified industries that are prohibited via the use of certain payment methods. Yak Pay reserves the right to update the list of banned industries at any time. If you are uncertain about your payment please contact our friendly team.
